Old-world charm offensive : relatively-advanced classes in Contact Improvisation.

Greetings Contact Improvisors,

On Sunday, April 1, 2007, from 2:30p-5:30p, at Dovercourt Penthouse (3rd floor), 805 Dovercourt Rd, Toronto, I will teach yet another CI class.

This is an invitation-only event, free to participants (if you got this notice, you're invited.)

The class will be a reprise/extension of Lucky charm offensive (held January 21, 2007), and the final event in the Charm offensive series:

• We will explore physically-articulated situations which put-into-question and/or clarify who is 'in charge' of the duet from one moment to the next;
• We will try-out some non-choreographic/non-theatrical schemes for injecting transient structure into the improvised flow - and so address some problems of performing CI.

As with previous class-series, the goal of Charm offensive is to cultivate approaches to CI which are idiomatic to how it realizes conversation (and, for that matter, interesting movement relationships.)
